A very traditional Greek pasta made from flour and sheep’s milk. It is has an irregular shape, and unlike other pasta, has a fine grain rather than smooth texture. It is best in soups and stews.
Why is it labeled sweet? Our trahana is sweet because it is made with milk, as opposed to sour which is made with yogurt.
Try Trahana in place of rice or couscous in your recipes. As a natural thickener, Trahana will add a unique taste treat to your risotto, thick soup or stew.
